Elizabeth Buckley School enjoys a strong sense of community. Active involvement of parents is essential to the school's operation. All parents are required to contribute twenty hours of volunteer time per school year.

There are many areas in which parent help is needed and many opportunities for parents to participate in their children's education: assisting in classroom activities, taking part in fund-raising, field trips, special events, hot lunch days or sharing special talents and skills.
